Advocate In-Service

Each CASA must complete 12 hours of in-service training each year.  

Workshops, conferences, seminars, and monthly in-service offered through the office all count toward your ongoing training. 

Please enter your training hours in Optima. Click on the "Training Logs" tab and add new. Use the "Notes" section to write a quick summary of what you learned, and also let us know what you enjoyed or disliked about the training you completed. 

Advocates can also complete independent study hours that count towards your in-service quota. Please visit the following pages to access office-approved training materials. If you have a book, movie, podcast, etc. you'd like to see added to our lists, please email Sara at shess@helenacasa.org.
